Technology and Internet Resources

Dear UNCG Community,

As we resume classes online and work remotely, please know there are technology and Internet access resources available.  The University’s Keep Learning website has many resources, strategies, and tools available for you.

If you are a student who is graduating this semester and you do not have Internet access at home, please visit 6-TECH to report this important information to the University.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, area Internet providers are offering access for qualifying households.

  • Comcast is offering a 60-day complimentary Internet Essentials service for low-income families living in a Comcast service area. Find out more on the Comcast website.
  • Spectrum is offering free internet for 60 days for households with a K-12 or college student.  Find out more on the Charter Communications/Spectrum website.

It is critically important to stay connected and informed during this time. Please regularly check our dedicated coronavirus webpage. Bookmark it for easy access. We update it frequently. Please ensure you monitor your email as we will update conditions as soon as the information becomes available. We strongly recommend downloading the UNCG Mobile app for your phone from the iTunes App store or the Google Play app store. This is a convenient way to access news, and we will push notifications to your device when they are important. Finally please follow @UNCG on whatever social media platforms you use. This is a fast, easy way to stay up-to-date.
