The Honors College will offer phone or iSpartan Google Hangout advising via video or text messaging. Please signup for advising appointments via Starfish if you have not done so already and select your chosen method of contact. An Honors advisor will contact you at the time of the appointment using the method of your choosing.

The Residential College advisors will offer email or phone advising sessions to all program members. Scheduling will be done by each College’s advisor. Please be sure to complete the pre-advising form, provided by your advisor, prior to scheduling your appointment. Scheduling Advising Appointments
Please schedule your academic advising appointment by logging in to Starfish as you normally would. Appointment types will be either via phone or iSpartan Google Hangout. If you schedule a phone appointment you will need to make sure you provide your advisor with a working phone number.
Bryan School of Business CARS Majors
CARS majors assigned to Rachel Rose are to email her directly at email@example.com to schedule a phone or Zoom advising appointment.

The College of Arts and Sciences will deliver advising services via email, phone, and iSpartan Google Hangout. If your advisor is in the College of Arts and Sciences Advising Center, please schedule your appointment through Starfish as you normally would. If your advisor is a faculty member or you are unsure who your advisor is, please visit this website to help you identify your advisor and locate their contact information.
The College of Visual and Performing Arts will be holding advising services through the Canvas Organization titled “CVPA COVID-19 Advising.” Please log-in there for more information.

HHS Advising and Personal Development Center will provide advising via email with limited options for phone appointments upon request. Other remote options for advising will be offered as needed and as they become available.
Those assigned to departmental advisors should defer to communication sent out from their assigned advisor or department regarding advising activities and options for remote advising going forward.
The Office of Student Services & Advising and faculty advisors will conduct advising for all majors via phone, email, and iSpartan Google Hangout.
If you previously scheduled an on campus advising meeting through Starfish, your advisor will be in contact via email to schedule a virtual advising session. Students are asked to check UNCG iSpartan email for important information and updates from your advisor as well as the academic departments.
Advisors expect to answer all virtual email or phone communications within 24-48 hours of receipt of your email or voicemail.

The Students First Office will continue to provide services and support for UNCG students by holding both virtual and phone appointments through Google Meet.

Undergraduate students in need of supplemental advising support are encouraged to contact the office to schedule appointments, also to be held virtually or via phone. SFO staff will remain available via webchat at studentsfirst.uncg.edu and by email at email@example.com between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. We will also be regularly monitoring messages left via voicemail at (336) 334-5730.
